Josh Kayode extends his representation contract with DDG on his 21st Birthday!

JJ & DDG Managing Director and Founder, Steve Harrison

Happy Birthday 21st Birthday to JJ Kayode….

And as part of his celebrations we are delighted to confirm that Joshua Kayode has committed to a new deal with Dead Dead Good Management following his exciting new improved and extended deal at Rotherham United.

The Irish International Striker has been a client of Steve Harrison at DDG since he was fifteen years of age, and coming through the ranks at St Francis FC in Dublin.

Steve handled his initial academy scholarship move to Rotherham United having worked closely with JJ and his family.

We have since negotiated his first professional contract at the club and further extended his deal with Rotherham against a backdrop of interest from a number of English Premier League, Championship and one senior European club.

JJ has just returned from injury whilst on loan with EFL side Carlisle United, with goals in his first two games, during a season which has seen him break into the Republic of Ireland U21 side

He will be enjoying time with family tonight in Manchester, with one eye on the Millers game at Luton Town… Rotherham remain close to retaining Champiosnhip football for next season.

Steve made comment:

“It is a genuine pleasure to be part of the success of any young player, and especially one who continues to improve and realise his aspirations’.

“My vision has always been about the long-game for my clients. Be it watching Jack Butland as a youth player at Birmingham City. Securing the first Adidas boot deal for a young Jay Rodriguez at Southampton, else watching a Premier League debut for Tom Edwards against Manchester City in front of 55,000 people’.

There are always the right times to make the right moves, and this was the right one for JJ at this stage of his career… he is an outstanding young man and professional, and a corner-stone of what makes DDG such a special community…

Everything that we could ask in a modern day footballer… time for a double celebration!

Happy Birthday!
