
DDG is thrilled to confirm that we have completed the deal which see’s Amber Barrett signing to FFC Turbine Potsdam, six-time winners of the Frauen Bundesliga, and two-time winners of Champions League.
Potsdam finished fourth in the Bundesliga 1 last season, missing out on a Champions League place by one place.
Amber will be seen as a huge asset up top supplying additional fire power and goals into the new 2022/23 season.
The Donegal born striker has enjoyed a successful three season’s in the Bundesliga, playing over fifty games with FC Koln (Cologne), where she rejected a new contract last month.

The new season gets underway 16th September away to SV Werder Bremen, and her home debut against Bundesliga 1 newcomers SV Meppen the following week.
Pre-Season Training began this week in Potsdam, a city on the border of Berlin, Brandenburg.

Amber will also be keen to prepare for the crucial World Cup qualifier at the Tallacht Stadium in Dublin on the 1st September, when the “Girls in Green” face Finland.
