Naoisha returns to Durham for the new 2022/23 season following her “off season” international duties…

They say there is no rest rest for the wicked… well it obviously applies to the good guys too… not that anybody is complaining around DDG Towers!

Naoisha had her 1st Full International Call-Up in the summer break which meant a couple of weeks training in Dublin, and Turkey including the friendly fixture against the Philippines, and the crucial World Cup Qualifier against Georgia

Naoisha in action at the Irish Training Camp

A wonderful experience for the Durham Number 1 who secured an improved and extended contract with the Wildcats for the forthcoming 2022/23 Championship season

Durham Wildcats suitably proud…

Training started today in the superb Maiden Castle facilities in the outstanding Durham countryside

The domestic season begins with a huge local derby against Sunderland on Sunday 21st August which will prove an inevitable sell-out

Good Luck with the new season Naoisha…

Ellie pens New Deal with Birmingham City

DDG and Birmingham City Women are pleased to confirm that Eleanor Ryan-Doyle has signed a new contract.

The striker has put pen-to-paper on a new one-year deal, including the option of a further year.

Steve Harrison of DDG comments “We are thrilled to have completed the negotiations early, in order that Ellie can return and prepare for the new season”

“We had a number of options, but Ellie was keen to commit for a further period, given the faith that the new coaching staff Darren Carter and Jo Potter had indicated with the new offer”

Joining from Peamount United last September, Ellie went on to make 17 appearances in her first season as a professional. Her first goals for the Club came in 2-2 draw away at London City Lionesses in the final FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup group game last December.
